چکیده
This study investigated the correlation between bone characteristics, design of orthodontic mini-implants, pull-out force, and primary stability. experimental in vitro has examined commercial mini-implants different sizes designs, produced by two manufacturers: Tomas-pin SD (Dentaurum, Ispringen, Germany) Perfect Anchor (Hubit, Seoul, Korea). The total number 40 were tested. There are properties that common to all tested implants—one is material which they made (titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V), other method their insertion. main difference why have been selected as subject research first place, reflected geometry or design. Regardless type implant, average forces found be higher for a cortical thickness (CBTC) 0.62–0.67 mm on average, compared CBTC < 0.62 mm, where measured force averages lower. analysis variance impact mini-implant proved there statistically significant (p 0.015) three analyzed geometric factors implant. affects its pulling force. quality at implant insertion point important stability; thus, increase increases value significantly.

Evaluation of primary stability of inclined orthodontic mini-implants.
The aim of this study was to investigate the initial stability of mini-implants when placed slanting or perpendicular to the bone surface, and to examine the effects of differences in tractional direction. Titanium mini-implants were inserted into rabbit nasal bones, slanting (60 degrees , 120 degrees ) or perpendicular (90 degrees ) to the bone surface. These implants were then loaded with a f...
